Dallas Rogers New Journeymen Tenor |
The Journeymen Quartet is proud to announce the addition of Dallas Rogers as the new tenor for the
quartet. Dallas is 22 years old and originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. Southern gospel music fans may remember Dallas from his years spent with The Toney Brothers and Heirline.
Stacey Murphy, lead singer and manager for the quartet shares, "We are very excited about the addition of Dallas to our quartet. He has worked very hard over the past several weeks and has already
become a crowd favorite during our concerts. It is evident to us that Dallas shares our commitment of presenting traditional quartet music with professionalism and integrity."
Murphy explains, "We have been blessed during the past several months with a young man from our hometown who has sung tenor for us on an interim
basis. This allowed us to wait patiently for just the right man to join our ministry. We have sensed God's hand being on our group during this transition, teaching us to wait and trust in God and His timing. These past
several months have been a time of renewal and unity unlike any we have experienced before. With the addition of Dallas, we are so excited about what
is in store as we go forward together, committed to God and to this ministry."
Michael Davis of The Dominion Agency adds "Dallas is a wonderful addition to
the Journeymen Quartet. We anticipate great days ahead for these young men, as they continue building from their solid foundation to an exciting future."
The next several weeks will be busy ones for Dallas and The Journeymen. Not only are The Journeymen maintaining a busy touring schedule, they have
already begun selecting material in preparation for their upcoming recording, scheduled to be released in September.
The next time you see The Journeymen, be sure to come by and welcome Dallas to the group.
