If You Drink This Water Released to Radio |
The brand new radio single by The Journeymen, If You Drink This Water, has just been released to southern gospel radio stations nationwide. This upbeat
quartet-style number is always a favorite of listeners in concert and is sure to be a hit on radio as well!
If You Drink This Water was written in the 1950's by the late "Big Chief" Wetherington, famous bass singer of The Statesmen Quartet. Our bass singer,
Jason Brooks
, had located the song and brought it for us to consider for our
We Will Not Fail recording. We were hooked from that start! Our producer, Lari
Goss, not only produced the song for us but he played piano on the original Statesmen version as well! Be sure and call your favorite southern gospel radio DJ and request If You Drink This Water from The Journeymen's Homeland Records project We Will Not Fail today!
The song is available on Airplay Radio Promotions January 2003 Compilation. If you would like to hear the song on your computer, it is available for download on our recordings page in MP3 format.
