On a recent trip north, we stopped in to see our friend Larry Dean at WNTS radio in Indianapolis, IN.

We returned to the "cold north" this week and had some time for sight-seeing in downtown Chicago.

Downtown Chicago has many beautiful views...particularly around the Chicago river.

We decided that we wanted to find some "real" Chicago-style pizza and we had several folks tell us to go to Giardano's.  We weren't sure what to expect, but we found it and decided to give it a try.

It looks like a hit!  What do you think?

When we left the pizzeria, the weather had changed and it was snowing.

Here is a picture of the Hancock Tower, literally disappearing into the clouds.

We walked on down the famous retail area "The Miracle Mile" of Michigan Avenue.

Jason found out the hard way why they call it "the windy city."  He was trying all day to hold onto his scarf!

Stacey driving south to get away from all of the cold weather!
