If you've been to see the group in the past few weeks you will have noticed a NEW BUS!  We are enjoying this new ride a great deal...and want to give all of you a quick tour.  First the outside....

For those of you who are "nuts about buses," the coach is a '93 Silver Eagle Model 15, 45' long, 102" wide, with a raised-roof.

It is powered by a Detroit Diesel 8v92 turbo engine, with an Allison Automatic transmission, and power-steering.  Come on inside and we'll show you around...

First you'll see the driver's area and master electrical panel and then when you turn left...

...you take a step up into the front lounge, as seen here.

On the left of the front lounge, you can see a chair and a booth, followed by the galley.

As you start back through the front lounge, there is a long couch on the right followed by a galley area with refrigerator.  On the left is a chair, booth, microwave, sink, and trash compactor.  Well, let me show you...

The galley area may be small, but it will handle everything we'll throw at it.

You might also notice the beautiful oak wood throughout the coach.  It really shines!

Just beyond the galley on the left is the rest room...

...and on the right is the shower room.
(Trust me, there is a shower in there, it just wasn't easy to get a picture!)

Next comes the bunk-room, with nine bunks and three large closets.

Each bunk has its own heat/AC vents, lights, electrical outlets, and the closets are cedar-lined.  Some of us spend more time here than others!

As you go further down the hall, you see the closets on the left...and then we get to the rear lounge.

The rear lounge has a wrap-around couch, entertainment center, two more large closets, and two small closets in the back.

This is where you'll find Stacey doing paperwork much of the time.

Here is a better look at the entertainment center in the rear lounge.

And that concludes our tour!

Our previous bus gave us good service over 7 years, but we are thankful that God has allowed us to have a newer model that serves our needs better as our touring continues to expand.

So from now on, don't watch for "ole' Red" going up and down the interstate.  Instead, if you see a big green Eagle, with a maroon "swoosh" down the side, be sure to pull up and say "Hello!"
