In August, we made a trip to Maryland and got to visit with some of Anthony's family.  Here is a picture of him with his biggest fan...his grandma!

...and joined by his Mom.  These folks are sure proud of their boy!

After our Sunday evening date, we surprised our guys with a night-time tour through downtown Washington, DC.

We stopped to see the Capitol, Washington Monument, White House, and Vietnam Memorial, but some of the best pictures were from the Lincoln Monument.

The Washington Monument as seen from across the reflecting pool...with the Capitol Dome in the background.

Jason with a statue honoring our soldiers, near the Vietnam Memorial.  This was an emotional visit since Jason's dad Roger is a veteran of the Vietnam War.  Jason called Roger when we found the name on "The Wall" of Roger's gunnery partner who died in the war.

If you have ever get the opportunity to visit Washington, DC, be sure and take a night-time visit of the monuments.  It will be an experience that you will not forget.  Just ask any of these guys!
